The illegally occupied Palestinians have a legal right to fight back against the illegally occupying Israelis, under international law

This is what Conservative MP Nigel Huddleston (Minister of State, Department for Business and Trade), said in the House of Commons, on the 23rd of March 2023:

“The UK has a clear position on Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories: they are illegal under international law and constitute an obstacle to peace and the two-state solution. As set out in Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office guidance on overseas business risk, there are clear risks to UK businesses related to economic and financial activities in the settlements and we do not encourage or offer support to such activity.”

So, if they are illegal, then as a consequence, all the Israeli people living within these Palestinian territories, are illegal occupiers. And thus, by definition, they are criminals. They or the state of Israel can no longer argue that they are merely “innocent civilians”.

Under International law, the illegally occupied i.e. the Palestinians, have a legal right to fight back against their illegal occupiers. If that were not the case then why are Ukrainians able to fight back against their Russian occupiers and have raged war across the Donbas in Eastern Ukraine before the full-fledged war broke out.

Applying one set of rules in one place and applying a different set of rules – based on the same international law, not only does a gross disservice to the Palestinians, but it also does a disservice to the Israelis.

It puts Jewish lives at risk – because it gives them the impression that they legitimately can go and live in those illegally occupied territories. When in fact they can’t.

The Israelis who go and live in those territories are radicalised Judaists who are taking their young families and putting their lives in peril in the middle of a combat zone. if this were to occur in any normal democratic country, the parents would most likely be charged with child abuse.

We can also deduce what type of criminals the illegal Jewish settlers can be labelled as, by looking at the way they preserve their status in those illegally occupied territories.

They are preserved there by brute force of the IDF. So, they are there illegally, and are there by force against native Palestinians living there, and are essentially there to advance a political objective; which is the expansion of the state of Israel.

That, by definition, makes them terrorists. The generally accepted definition of a terrorist, is one that uses force against civilians, to advance a political aim.
