There is already a strong case for all those British citizens who have travelled to Israel to participate in the war, should be questioned by counter-terrorism police upon their return. Because there is already enough evidence that suggests crimes have taken place by those fighting for Israel.

It has been reported that hundreds of British citizens have gone to Israel to fight alongside the IDF.

The further right media has going doolally over this. Which is down to their lack of knowledge of what they are actually talking about. These two think the Met are “investigating Israel for war crimes”. That is factually incorrect.

Not two of the sharpest tools in the “box”.

The Met Police said “Its War Crimes Team is obliged to support any investigations opened by the ICJ that could involve British subjects”, under the terms of the 1998 Rome Statute.

Another well known blunt tool, Boris Johnson, was fuming that the Met police would be obliged to carry out their legal duties. He followed his famous intellectually lazy attitude, and claimed the Met Police was being “politicised”.

The counter-terror unit within the Met Police have begun this work by having posters distributed around Heathrow and other major UK airports, asking people for information who may be returning from Palestine and the surrounding region.

These are early stages, as the ICJ investigates Israel for genocide, in a case recently submitted to the ICJ by South Africa. If Israel is found guilty, then it would become unthinkable for the UK police not to interview all British subjects returning from Israel, who have travelled to Israel in the period the genocide was taking place.
