So, a group called Campaign Against Antisemitism based in the UK, which purports to fight “antisemitism” but by and large is actually an Israeli lobby group, commissioned a poll.

It was a poll to gauge sentiments of the UK population about their perceptions of Israel, and also some questions on their perception of Jewish people (banding them together would naturally imply to respondents that Jewish people are all aligned with Israel, which is false, and so therefore is not best practice polling method).

Moving on… Mr Simons seems completely shocked at the results and bizarrely thinks Britain has a problem:

Instead of self-reflection, why does he believe this is Britain’s problem?

Imagine when political parties run polls to gauge the views of the public – and after they get the results from the public, they cry “what the hell is wrong with the British people” – it’d be completely mad, a hideous reaction.

And actually, they never do that.

What they do is, assess the results, understand where they need to correct themselves, and work forward in addressing the issues that became apparent from the polling.

But Mr Simons and his extremist ilk, oh no, normal rules, practices and behaviour do not apply to them – his approach is to instead attack the British people for having the perceptions and views that they have – which of course is based on what they see and read about what Israel is doing, and how regardless of that, how a large portion of the Jewish community in the UK still continues to support Israel.

Naturally, people would find that abominable.

This is the kind irrationality we have been too willing to entertain, for too long.

It must stop, now!
