Camilla Turner has been at The Telegraph for more than ten years.
Former Major General Charlier Herbter is a decorated soldier who was awarded an OBE for his services.
Herbert has been a vocal critic of Israel’s military strategy and tactics in Gaza – and this has not gone down well with extremist Zionists like Camilla Turner – it has left them frothing at the mouth in how to attack Herbert into silence.
Well, they have now played their hand and have come up with a lousy “hit piece” on Herbert, by ‘revealing’ he drank champagne with colleagues while in tour in Afghanistan.
“After investigation by the British Army, the allegations referred to were found to be unproven and vexatious with the exception of a single one that I shared a bottle of champagne with some work colleagues, in breach of a US rule on the consumption of alcohol”. – Herbert told The Telegraph.
This is their lousy attempt to try and silence Herbert from criticising Israel, and rightly criticising Israel we should add.
The interesting thing about Camilla Turner is that ever since the Israeli onslaught on Gaza began in October – she has written nothing about the plight of the Palestinians – zero about how Israel is indiscriminately bombing Gaza into rubble – zero about how Israel has murdered thousands of children – women – elderly – men.
Not a single word on any this – yet she finds it appropriate or somehow relevant amidst all this, to single out a former Major General for speaking up against Israeli policy.
This kind of biased, weaponised journalism is the reason why so many have lost faith with the main stream media.
Ms Turner has had a varied role at The Telegraph:
In recent months, amidst the plausible genocide in Gaza, she has written about all sorts:
And one may make an argument she has not written about Gaza because she is the political correspondent for the UK – but then why would she write up this lousy “hit piece” on Herbert? It’s not within her remit.
We call it, she’s an anti-Palestinian extremist Zionist.
She should hang her head in shame. I suspect she won’t though, because trying to shame Zionist extremists is like trying to shame a dog for licking its balls.
