My response below:

– We didn’t have the Holocaust here.

– We didn’t commit the Holocaust.

– We don’t have a major problem with actual hate against Jews relative to other religious and racial hate crimes (reported cases of antisemitism/Jew hate have conviction rates are less than 1%, which indicates the vast majority are fake cases that didn’t meet the legal bar, but rather merely reported to police based on people’s feelings).

But what is real, is that the government is supporting what many experts are calling a genocide in Gaza.

So, why are we having the memorial at taxpayers expense, and in the UK?

Just remembering the Holocaust means nothing, merely remembering things doesn’t prevent similar/same things happening in future – what prevents it is people in charge taking actions to prevent it from happening – which we are today not doing, but rather egging on.

Cancel the whole thing.

It’s a vanity project.
