Stamford Hill has a large Jewish population – it is the largest Jewish community in Europe.

It is the second largest religious group after Christians. It has double the number of Muslims in the area.

This boy was parading around the Olinda Road mosque in Stamford Hill trying to intimidate and taunt Muslim worshippers in the holy month of Ramadan.

To parade around in a uniform that is responsible for murdering so many Muslims, at a pace not seen in modern times, in unconscionable. There can be no excuses for it, even though some are trying to excuse it as a legitimate “fancy dress for Purim”.

This is an indication that where there is a strong support base for Israel where they have a numerical advantage, they will stoop to worryingly disturbing levels to intimidate and harass the local Muslim community.

This is not a mere waving of a flag, which many Jewish folks complain about when a Palestinian flag is waved or hoisted. This is a group of people who are pushing in the faces of the victims, the very thing that is bringing so much death and destruction to their co-religionists in Palestine. This is an act of deliberate evilness.

Given that this young boy was paraded around a mosque shows it was an intentional act to intimidate and harass Muslims in the area.

And given his young age, this indicates it was directed by his parents or elder members of the family – who have weaponised this young boy. Not caring about his wellbeing – they cared more about conveying their hate and sacrificed the wellbeing of the boy. Hiding behind the boy.

To make excuses that this is fancy dress for Purim is almost as vile – would the people who make this excuse say it would be OK for a person to be parading around a synagogue with a Nazi uniform on?
