Marlon Solomon is a comedian by trade.
Marlon Solomon and I hold very different views about Palestine and Israel – and the ongoing situation there. Our views on what actually constitutes antisemitism vastly differs too.
Mr Solomon recently performed at the Edinburgh Festival. As usual, he focused on one of his favourite subjects, “antisemitism”.
On his Twitter handle he describes himself as a “Performer, Dad, Jew”.
Maybe his next show can be around the subject of him lying about people on Twitter, just because they happen to hold different views to him.
An affable comedian, a joker – concocting damaging lies about those who hold opposing views.
Who would have guessed it. But here we are, they roam amongst us.
Laughing and joking, yet behind backstage they are gnashing away, incensed and full of rage.
Mr Solomon was recently caught spreading lies about me on Twitter:
The text he appears to have received, clearly states the name of Rob Marni.
With whom we got in contact with and he confirmed it is he, who had texted Mr Solomon.
But what are minor details like that to get in the way of extremists, spreading egregious lies about those whose views they don’t like.
