Israel is the only country in the history of mankind, to have expanded its territorial borders, as allocated by the UN in 1947 that invented Israel.
While claiming to “defend itself”.
This is rather extraordinary when we look at the wars of the past seventy odd years since the inception of Israel in 1947.
None of them resulted in territorial gains by the side that was defending itself from an aggressor.
- Korean war (1950-53) – no territorial gain by the defender
- Vietnam war (1954-75) – no territorial gain by the defender
- Iran-Iraq war (1980-88) – no territorial gain by the defender
- Afghanistan war (2001-14) – no territorial gain by the defender
- Syrian civil war (2012-present) – no territorial gain by the defender
None of these wars and others, have ever resulted in the side defending themselves, gain land over the supposed aggressor side.
Where we have seen land gains, is land gained by the the aggressor, against the defender.
For example, with Russia in Ukraine, in the war that is currently raging in Europe.
Russia has gained Ukrainian land and continues to do so – Israel has gained Palestinian land and continues to do so.
Does Russia “have a right to defend itself”. It’s absurd, right?
Israel is the aggressor as is Russia. The aggressors do not have a right to defend themselves – the side that is facing the aggression has a right to defend itself.
Palestine is facing the aggression of Israel, just like Ukraine is facing the aggression of Russia.
Palestine has a right to defend itself, just like Ukraine has a right to defend itself.
Israel is the aggressor and Palestine is the defender.
