ADL is obsessed with trying to convince Americans that anti-Zionism is the same as anti-Semitism.
Even though they’re fundamentally different – ADL and its CEO Greenblatt’s obsession is very odd.
Given the fact that the vast majority of reported Jew hatred comes from the far-right supremacists. They don’t do Jew hatred with any relevance or connection to Zionism or anti-Zionism.
The only groups / people who use anti-Zionism are those who oppose the policies and illegalities of the state of Israel, it’s lawmakers and those who support the apartheid state in their nefarious activities.
Any real Jew hatred coming from that segment is insignificant in percentage terms, compared to Jew hatred from the far-right.
ADLs obsession, particularly Greenblatt’s, to egregiously try and incriminate anti-Zionists as Jew haters, makes one wonder if he is fighting the corner for Jews and to protect them from hate or, are ADL and he, fighting the corner of Israel. The facts indicate it’s the latter, essentially forming a part of the “Israeli lobby”.
The very particular part of the lobby and supporter base that has an anti-Palestinian epidemic, and one that seeks to deny the inalienable right of Palestinian self-determination.
Saying anti-Zionism is the same as anti-Semitism, is like saying Palestinian is the same as saying Muslim – because, not all Zionists are Jews and vice-versa, just like not all Palestinians are Muslims and vice-versa.
