This has become a trend

Douglas Murray was the Director of a failed think-tank in the UK, that was once described as a “far-right stink-tank”.

He became a “political commentator” (that wonderful career path that we all dream of when growing up, hmm), but since work dried up for him in the UK, he moved to the US to try his luck there.

What I find revealing is that there is a trend amongst far-right extremist “commentators” of Douglas Murray’s ilk, to find some atrocity in the world, and then to call others out for not speaking up about it.

Others do speak up about it, but the revealing part is those of Murray’s ilk don’t speak up about it themselves, all they do is falsely accuse others for not speaking up about it.

They don’t really care either way – because if they did, they would post about it themselves and do a commentary on the plight of these people, who they are essentially using to try and bash others with it.

That is a profoundly reprehensible thing to do.

To use people being abused and murdered in some of the toughest parts of the world – to use them as a tool for their vitriol against others they do not like and / or disagree with.

All his ilk worry about is boosting their viewing numbers on social media. This war is the reason why he is hitting a million views for the first time in his life and he can’t stop boasting about it.
